A limited edition of 6 bark tanned deerskin wallets lined with a Meiji period (late 19th - early 20th c.) Japanese hemp umakake, or horse blanket. Each wallet is hand cut and sewn with Irish linen thread using the traditional saddle stitch method. The 6 Devilish wallets, as well as the Deerskin No 4 Judas Pouches, are cut from a single, super soft, hunter-harvested deerskin naturally tanned in Texas using tree bark. The antique hand loomed lining was dyed with natural indigo plant. Each limited edition wallet is individually signed and numbered (of 6 for the Devilish billfold). Features 5 card pockets and large bill-opening. Edged with beeswax. Wallet dimensions: 85 mm x 105 mm (4 in x 3.25 in). Designed for dollars, yen, euros, pound sterling and most other currency. Includes linen gift pouch.
Despite the age of the textiles, they are as strong as their modern equivalent and this wallet is sturdy enough to be your every day carry.
